Profile

I started playing tennis around age six and already as a child I dreamt of becoming a professional Tennis Player. While many of my peers moved on to more traditional pursuits, I never gave up on the sport. I quickly become one of the best in my age group and I have won multiple Swedish championships and represented my country in both the European Championships and the Junior Davis Cup. I have sacrificed much, and endured through times of challenge and injury in order to reach the pinnacle of the athletic world. I recently graduated from the University of Arizona where I created history. As a team captain most of my years at Arizona, I led the team winning the Pac-12 and reaching NCAA sweet 16 for the first time in the program history. I have accomplish a lot in college but now it is time for my next chapter in life, playing professional tennis.

University of Arizona Coach Clancy Shields:

“I couldn’t think of a finer young man to support than Jonas Ziverts. He has meant the world to our team and elevated our program in more ways than I can explain. Every once in a while, we are lucky enough to coach a kid with a special star. Jonas is certainly one of those kids. Jonas has led our team to unprecedented heights the past 5 years, and I know he will carry that standard of excellence in the next chapter of his life as a professional tennis player. The next step for him will be a challenge and he will need a great deal of support to get his career off the ground. I hope you will consider supporting Jonas as he begins this journey. I know he can achieve his goals and dreams and I can’t wait to see our special Wildcat on the big stage representing the A!”
